BASIC PATTERN:
Grate pattern. 1. R (forward course): In the 6th S from the needle 1 Trb. * with 1 L chain stitch. Pass 1 S, 1 Trb. in the following S, repeat it from *. 2. R (returning course): 4 Chain stitches to turning, * 1 Trb. Into the next Trb., 1 Chain stitch. Repeat it from *, at the end 1 Trb. in the 3rd turning chain stitch. Repeat the 2nd R. Instead of the chain stitch the closed pattern, crochet 1 Trb.
CROCHET SCRIPTURE:
Given are 14pattern stripes with tel-plaid and end-plaid,
also the edging border. Repeat the 1.-28. R.
STITCH SAMPLE:

PATTERN STRIPES:
For 28 plaids wide 57 + 3 chain stitches to turn it, hook it and work to the crochet scripture = 27 plaids for the stripe + 1 filled plaid only at the right edge Work the 1.-28. R all together 7 times. Then crochet beyond 1 R Trb. Crochet 3 pattern stripes as described. Work more the 4th stripe with 2 S more, so that on both sides lay a filled plaid.
EDGING BORDER:
For 13 plaids begin to hook on a corner, width 27 + 4 chain stitches, and work like in the crochet scripture described.Repeat the 1.-28. R. Decrease ever 1 plaid at the right edge in the 2.-7 R. Increase 1 plaid each at the 9.-14. R. Continue to repeat it like in the crochet scripture described. Work the corners at the long sides after 7 rapports, at the short side after 4 rapports as follows: The 1.-7. R as in the crochet scripture, then end the pattern as given in the 8.-14. R. Decrease at the right edge until all S are used.
Turn the work and begin the next side at the left hand of the last 13 R with the first R of the crochet scripture again. Sew on the hook at the left side of the last 13 R.
FINISHING:
Sew together the pattern stripes without edge. Then sew on the edge border. Crochet around fix S at the end: On every edge-Trb. Respectively the turning chain stitch ever 3 S; into the inner corners 1 S; in the outer pikes 2 fix S, 2 chain stitches and 2 fix S.
